The main research of the Center concerns the development of Jewish and Israeli identity in a variety of educational settings such as:

1.    Jewish identification: in Israel and in the Diaspora.
2.    Israeli identification: Jewish and non-Jewish.
3.    Democratic identification and its' connection to Jewish, non-Jewish an Israeli identification.

During the academic year of 2007-2007, the Center held a research seminar focusing on education for values, an alternative educational approach, in the spirit of the Centers' agenda and focus on three basic areas of identification formation:

Each week a different master or doctoral student presented their area of research. The following is a list of students and their corresponding research projects.

•    Nareman Abujabal - The ethical orientation of the Palestinian-Arab principal in Israel as reflected in his or her management style.
•    Sigal Achituv - The development of identity in Kindergarten teachers among the National-religious educational system, and how their identity influences their teaching.
•    Zvi Berger - The educational implications of Max Kadushin's school of thought and value education.
•    David Harbater - The relationship between education and indoctrination in the inculcation of religion in the framework of a yeshiva high school.
•    Vered Haus - The Contribution of Zionist Youth Movements to Values Education: The Case of “Kvutzot Habhira”
·         Galit Caduri - Study of the philosophical sources of the qualitative research, in particular the narrative inquiry.
•    Shulamit Kitzis -The development of identity among sons of Rabbis.
•    Gabi Landler-Pardo - The relationship between Diaspora Jews and Israeli Jews and its' influence on the development of Jewish identified values, in the context of a young leadership program of the Center.
•    Michal Mor – Intends to research a religious/secular woman's dialogue in "woman's melody" a seminar of Judaic studies for religious and secular women.
•    Iris Yaniv - Difficulties and dilemmas of teaching Bible in high-schools in the state school system.
